Paradigm shift

We had to create an App for two very different listener profiles and achieve a balance between the essence of analog radio and new digital formats, which prioritize the visual factor.

    Traditional vs. new listener

    Design a new APP that would adapt the radio to new moments of consumption, encourage the discovery of exclusive content, and reach new listener profiles without losing the more traditional audience. La SER's new app had to be perfect for two users who were so different from each other that they would probably never listen to the same radio program.

    National vs. Local Content

    Organize the infinite content (programs, news, football and sports broadcasts, live broadcasts, current events, bulletins, local and general radio stations...) with an format that allows any user to find what they are looking for in two clicks. It's as simple as entering and listening to what you want.

CONCEPTUALIZATION

Three universes

We designed three universes that could be reached by swiping intuitivel; three completely accessible and differentiated universes, where each user can listen to what they want without getting lost in menus, tabs, drop-down menus, button panels; three universes accessible just by swiping on the same App.

    Search Universe

    Swipe to the left to enter the search universe. This universe is designed for users who want to find the concrete and specific programs they like: a place where you can find all of La SER's programmes at any time, adapted to digital consumption.

    Central Universe

    This universe shows the hottest news. What is playing right now, and what is happening at this very moment? It's a universe designed for users who listen to the radio in a more classic format. The user can find out what is happening at the moment on La SER.

    "BE ME" Universe

    By swiping to the right you enter the personalized universe. This space communicates directly with the user, and each profile has its own SER experience. The programs they follow, saved podcasts, and also new related content that might pique their interest are shown.

SOLUTION.
  1. Engagement

    In addition to extra content and functionalities, the new App invites the user to be part of the content through comments, interaction with other listeners, and interaction with journalists...
